2024/25 Player Rankings

The league rankings system began in 2011 and since then has had a variety of different rankings systems. For most seasons of the individual player rankings, the singles games only ranking system was used but for some previous seasons, there was only a combined format ranking system. From the 2024/25 season onwards, the league returns to having a singles game only player ranking system, where individual players’ current league ranking is determined by their singles ranking. Rankings are officially attained and recorded once 10 league games have been played.

The ranking system is determined by number of singles games won, and if this is tied, it is determined by first legs difference, then least games played, then 180s then 100+ checkouts. If there is still no separation between the two players, then they are considered tied. The league number one at the end of the season will receive a cash prize. The top three in the league rankings at the cut off date of March 8th will qualify automatically for the Harry Contay Trophy. The highest ranked lady at the end of the season will also receive a cash prize. Ladies rankings are also available separately below the main rankings.
